Adding a link to facebook

By "Liking" your club's Facebook page means that someone is interested in news about events (forthcoming and passed).  

It provides you with a great opportunity to "post" them a brief note about an upcoming event and  provide a link back to your website for more information such as an entry form, sponsorship form or more information about the event programme.

Adding a Facebook link to your website 

Go to your Facebook page and copy the web address at the top of the page.

 

Now go to the members' area of your website and select option 1. Manage the control file.

Scroll down the page until you see the box called Social media.  Place your cursor in the appropriate field and paste in the address you copied a few moments ago.  Scroll down the page until you reach Update and Restore and click on Update.

 

The Facebook logo will now appear on the right hand side of the header.
