February 2010

Welcome to our February 2010 Newsletter

I hope that you find our newsletters helpful, if there is anything you would like to achieve with your website please email me and I will try to help you.

Don't forget you can add other club members to our newsletter mailing list - especially useful if you are sharing the updating workload.  My list is kept entirely private and not passed to any third parties.

Best wishes

Create your own newsletter
As postage costs are set to increase again in April now is a good time to consider an economic way of creating a club newsletter.  Find out about the various alternatives...

New feature
You may have noticed a new advice flash, a solid line with white writing on a green background, has appeared when you save. What's it all about?

Domain Expiry Notices
From time to time you will receive offers from companies offering to renew your domain name; these offers are not as helpful as they like to suggest.  Find out why....

Last but not least

Do you use Internet Explorer version 6?
In line with many other on-line systems, most notably Google, we will no longer be supporting Internet Explorer Version 6.  If you are still working with this version your Club-Sites website will continue to work, but as time goes by you may find new features won't be displayed properly.  There is plenty of on-line help to move forward to Internet Explorer 8.  For information on upgrading (it's free) visit: update.microsoft.com
